Welcome to the NCBA's Technology Community
The NC Bar Association's Technology Community was created in March 2004 to help members make informed decisions about their information technology needs. The content is updated periodically and we welcome feedback on what is and should be available, so this online reference can be a source of practical information for our members.
NOTE: "Technology Forums" are now available to members in the "myForums" section of the "myNCBar" portal. The un-moderated forums allow members to share opinions or see what others have to say about legal technology issues such as reports from members on products, services, providers, and lessons learned.
NC Casemaker
"NC Casemaker" contains a link to the Casemaker online legal research library and information on how to use this valuable free member service, which provides access to state and federal materials including the NC Pattern Jury Instructions, NC Supreme Court Opinions, NC Statutes, NC Court of Appeals Opinions, NC Attorney General Opinions, US Supreme Court Opinions, US Code of Federal Regulations, all Federal Circuit Court Opinions, and Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.
|
Leadership
"Leadership" contains information from the NCBA's Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) including the TAC's statement of purpose, membership roster, meeting minutes, and sign up application. This section also contains information from other NCBA leadership groups about association technology issues including the Long Range Planning goals and inputs from other technology-related committees.

"Technology Resources" contains legal technology resources including links, forms, brochures, articles, and other information, which should help lawyers and legal professionals manage their technology needs. TAC Members,
The NCBA receives regular requests like the one listed below to add links to the NCBA's website. Most of these requests are declined by the staff without consulting our members, because they are clearly Spam or offer competitive service...
