By default, both “Cookies” and “JavaScript” are enabled during the Internet Explorer (IE) browser installation. However, depending on the options selected after starting the IE browser, they may have been disabled.
Both “Cookies” and “JavaScript” settings are located in the “Internet Options”.
- Click the "Start" button in the lower left-hand corner of your screen.
- Scroll up to "Settings," then over to "Control Panel."
- Click the icon marked "Internet Options." In Internet Options
To Reenable “Cookies”
- Select tab marked "Privacy"
- Ensure the ”Settings” are set to “Medium”.
- Select the “Advanced” button
- Ensure “Override automatic cookie handling” is not checked.
- Select “OK”.
To Reenable “JavaScript”
- Select tab marked "Security"
- Select “Custom Level…”
- From within the "Settings" box, scroll down until you see “Scripting”
- Ensure “Active scripting” is set to “Enable”
- Select “OK” twice and you are done.
