Login options

1. Three (3) login options are now available to access the password-protected parts of the NCBA Web site.  Members can login using their NCBA member number, their e-mail address, or a customized user IDNOTE:

o You must select the option you want to use in the login windows dropdown menu if you do NOT use your “NCBA number and password”, which is the default login option.
o You can change your login information in the “myUser Account” section of the new “MyNCBar” page by clicking HERE.
o If you forget your password you now have two options available.

  • You can request that your password be e-mailed to your registered NCBA e-mail address by selecting the “Password Change Request” link under Adv Login.
  • You can request to have your password diplayed for 30 seconds by selecting "Password Display" link under Adv Login.

2. You can choose the option to “Remember my password” on the login window.  Selecting this option will automatically log you in to the NCBA Web site after you close your browser as long as you:

  • Are using the same computer
  • Have "cookies enabled"
  • Do NOT delete your computers Internet cache (e.g., cookies & files).
  • NOTE: You can reselect or deselect this option at any time, as desired.

3. You only have to login once to access the password-protected parts of the NCBA's Web site that you have permission to use.

  • All members have access to many of the password-protected parts of the Web site including the Technology Community, NCBA Membership Directory, and Casemaker legal research tool.
  • You can tell that you are logged in when "Log Off" is displayed as a quick link in the right hand part of the Top Navigation Panel.
  • Certain parts of the Section and Division Communities as well as the LISTSERV archives are restricted to that group’s members only.
  • NOTE:  LISTSERV is managed by another company (L-Soft), so you have to login on their Web site to access the password-protected parts of their Web site.
