DISPLAY - Having trouble viewing the NCBA Web site?

It could be the “Cookies" and “JavaScript” settings in your Web browser. The NCBA Web site requires “Cookies” and “JavaScript” to be enabled to use special features like remembering your password.

By default, both “Cookies” and “JavaScript” are enabled during the Internet Explorer (IE) browser installation. However, depending on the options selected after starting the IE browser, they may have been disabled.

First, find out if you are using Internet Explorer or Netscape by looking at the top left of your browser window.

NOTE:  The NCBA site is best viewed with Internet Explorer 5.5 or Netscape 7 or Higher. Please use the links located at the bottom of this page to upgrade your Internet Browser.

For Internet Explorer 6, both “Cookies” and “JavaScript” settings are located in the “Internet Options”.

  1. Click the "Start" button in the lower left-hand corner of your screen.
  2. Scroll up to "Settings," then over to "Control Panel."
  3. Click the icon marked "Internet Options" In Internet Options.

To Re-enable “Cookies”

  1. Select the tab marked “Privacy”

  2. Ensure the “Settings” are set to “Medium”.
  3. Select the “Advanced” button

  4. Ensure the “Override automatic cookie handling” is NOT checked.
  5. Select “OK”

To Re-enable “Javascript”

  1. Select the tab marked “Security”

  2. Select “Custom Level...”

  3. Scroll Down until you see“Scripting”.
  4. Ensure the “Active Scripting” is set to“Enable”.
  5. Select “OK” twice, and you are done.

For Netscape, both "Cookies" and "JavaScript" settings are located in "Preferences" window.

  1. Open your Netscape browser.
  2. Click "Edit" in the menu bar.
  3. Select "Preferences...", the Preferences window will appear.

To Re-enable “Cookies” 

  1. Click on the "Privacy and Security" arrow.

  2. Select "Cookies" then select the "View" button.
  3. Ensure your cookies are set to "medium".

  4. Once finished select "OK" to return to the "Cookie" menu and then "OK" to close out the "Preferences" window.

To Re-enable “Javascript”

  1. Select the tab marked “Security”

  2. Select "Scripts & Plugins".

  3. Ensure "Enabled Javascript for Navigator" is checked.
  4. Under "Allow webpages to", make sure "Create or change cookies" and "Read cookies" are both checked.
  5. Select "OK" to close the "Prefences" window.
